Authorities in Vanderburgh County have confirmed the identity of a woman who lost her life following a traffic collision in Posey County. According to an official statement from the Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office, the deceased has been identified as 38-year-old Tiffany Riggle.
The incident, which remains under active investigation, occurred earlier at the intersection of State Road 62 and West Franklin Road at approximately 2:45 p.m. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene shortly after reports of the crash were received.
Riggle was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Despite efforts by medical personnel to save her life, she was later pronounced dead due to the severity of her injuries.
