Authorities have charged two men in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in the parking lot of Potomac Mills, according to Prince William County Police Department.

Police said officers responded around 7:10 p.m. on Feb. 24 to reports of a shooting at the shopping center on Potomac Mills Circle. Upon arrival, they found 34-year-old Baffour Asare Gundona, of Alexandria, with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died.

Investigators believe the shooting occurred during an altercation inside a parked vehicle. Following the incident, the suspects left the area.

Police identified Clifton Joseph Douglas, 25, of Chesterfield, as the alleged shooter. He was arrested by members of the U.S. Marshals Task Force and is charged with murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Beau Wade Bishop, 28, of Woodbridge, was arrested earlier and is charged as an accessory after the fact and with concealing or compounding offenses.

Both men are being held without bond. Authorities continue to investigate and ask anyone with information to contact Prince William County police.
