According to officials, the collision happened on Lauderdale County Road 47 near Lauderdale County Road 63. Law enforcement reports indicate the crash involved two vehicles traveling in opposite directions.
The incident claimed the life of 33-year-old Daria Smith of Nashville, Tennessee. Authorities confirmed that she was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigators stated that Smith was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation.
