Authorities have confirmed that a 22-year-old man has died following a motorcycle crash in Phoenix Friday afternoon. The victim has been identified as Jose Solorzano Magallon.
The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. near Cave Creek Road and Union Hills Drive when a motorcycle collided with a car. Solorzano Magallon was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Preliminary information from police indicates that the car may have failed to yield, while speed could have been a factor for the motorcycle. The driver of the car remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities.
