A fatal crash involving a motorcycle occurred Wednesday morning on the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway in Long Beach, authorities report.
The California Highway Patrol said the incident was reported around 6:53 a.m. just north of Long Beach Boulevard. Multiple vehicles were involved in the collision.
Responding officers and emergency personnel arrived quickly at the scene. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the location.
The victim has been identified by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office as 28-year-old Andres Alfaro.
