Faustino Alamo Dominguez, Luis Alamo Obituary, Death – Authorities have released the identities of two men who lost their lives during a robbery at a jewelry store in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood over the weekend. According to the Chicago Police Department (CPD), the incident occurred around 5:49 p.m. on Saturday at a business located in the 3800 block of 26th Street. Police said an individual entered the store, stole items, and left the scene.

Moments later, the suspect was reportedly involved in a confrontation with two men outside the store. During the altercation, both victims were struck by gunfire. The suspect then fled the area, heading south on Springfield Avenue in a white SUV, police said.

Emergency responders arrived quickly, and both victims were transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where they were later pronounced deceased. On Monday, the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victims as 63-year-old Faustino Alamo Dominguez and 25-year-old Luis Alamo, both residents of Berwyn, a suburb west of Chicago.

Investigators are now seeking help from the public as they work to identify and locate the person responsible. Cook County Crime Stoppers announced a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case. Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the event or has relevant information to come forward.

Nearby businesses provided surveillance footage that captured portions of the incident, which was shared with ABC7 Chicago. The video reportedly shows the moment the suspect entered and exited the store, as well as the vehicle used to leave the scene. Police are reviewing the footage as part of their investigation.
