Authorities in Vancouver are investigating a tragic domestic incident that resulted in the death of a 33-year-old woman on Thursday night.
Police say officers were called to a residence in the 10400 block of Northeast Oakbrook Circle around 11:30 p.m. after reports of an assault. When they arrived, they discovered the woman unresponsive at the scene with serious injuries. Despite emergency response efforts, she was later confirmed deceased.
The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office later determined that her death was the result of homicide.

A 30-year-old man, identified by police as Tyrell Peters, was also found at the scene with serious self-inflicted injuries. He was transported to hospital for treatment and remains under medical care.
