The Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office has released the identity of a teenager who died in a shooting late Sunday night in the Cedar Grove neighborhood.
According to authorities, 19-year-old Zecorian Miller was found around 10:15 p.m. in the 500 block of Argyle Street. Emergency responders arrived at the scene after reports of a shooting.
The Coroner’s Office confirmed Miller’s identity Monday morning through fingerprint comparison.
Officials say this incident marks the third homicide reported in 2026 within both Shreveport and Caddo Parish.
At this time, no arrests have been made, and investigators have not released information regarding a possible motive. The case remains under active investigation.
The Shreveport Police Department is leading the investigation and is asking for the public’s assistance. Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact investigators directly or submit an anonymous tip through Caddo-Shreveport Crime Stoppers.
