Cincinnati police report that a 26-year-old motorcyclist died in a crash on Sunday. The single-vehicle incident occurred around noon on Shaffer Avenue in Westwood, authorities said.
The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office identified the rider as Tyrane Bibbs. Police stated he was traveling west on a Yamaha motorcycle when the crash happened. Bibbs later died from injuries sustained during the incident.
Preliminary information from officers indicates that speeding and the absence of personal protective equipment may have contributed to the crash.
Cincinnati police ask anyone who witnessed the incident to contact the CPD Traffic Unit.
