Authorities have identified the man who died in a house fire in Plainwell over the weekend.
The Allegan County Public Safety Department confirmed the victim as 58-year-old Ted Hughes Jr. Firefighters from the Martin Fire Department responded to the home on North Main Street between Sherwood Avenue and 1st Avenue on Saturday, March 28, after a blaze was reported around 8:25 p.m.
