A Jefferson County man has died after sustaining injuries in an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) crash earlier this month, authorities confirmed.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department reported that 77-year-old Philip Bitely was involved in an ATV accident on February 10 in a rural area of Moscow. He suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Bitely passed away on February 26 due to the injuries he sustained in the crash.
In a statement, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office offered condolences to Bitely’s family and loved ones, acknowledging the difficult time they are facing.
