Authorities have identified the victim in a shooting that occurred early Saturday in northwest Oklahoma City.
According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 3100 block of North Portland Avenue at approximately 3 a.m.
When officers arrived, they located a 19-year-old male with injuries. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police identified the victim as Nestor Aguillar.
Investigators say the incident began as a disturbance in a parking lot before escalating. Authorities are working to determine the sequence of events and identify any individuals involved.
No arrests have been announced at this time.
