Jeremy Ball, Lynse Luther, TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa police are investigating a deadly incident that occurred Tuesday afternoon near Charles Page Boulevard and the Gilcrease Expressway. Authorities confirmed that two adults were found with critical injuries at the scene and later died at a local hospital.
According to the Tulsa Police Department (TPD), officers were dispatched to the area shortly after 5 p.m. following reports of a shooting. When first responders arrived, they located a man and a woman who both required immediate medical attention. Tulsa Fire Department personnel and Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA) provided emergency care before transporting the individuals to the hospital.
Despite life-saving efforts, both people were pronounced dead after arrival, police said.
The individuals have been identified as 45-year-old Jeremy Ball and 46-year-old Lynse Luther. Authorities have not released additional personal details out of respect for the families involved.
Police emphasized that the situation appears to be isolated and that there is no ongoing threat to the public. “There is no danger to the community at this time,” TPD stated in an initial update.
Detectives remained at the scene Tuesday evening to gather evidence and begin reconstructing the events that led up to the incident. Officials noted that the investigation is still in its early stages, and only limited information is available as they work to determine the full circumstances.
