Haley G. Lancaster, Tuscaloosa County Crash Leaves One Dead, Two Injured.

Authorities have identified a woman who died following a head-on crash in Tuscaloosa County that also left two others injured.

The Alabama State Troopers reported that the crash occurred around 8:05 p.m. Tuesday on Alabama Highway 69 near the 155-mile marker, approximately seven miles north of Tuscaloosa.

The deceased has been identified as 43-year-old Haley G. Lancaster of Brookwood. Officials confirmed that she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers said Lancaster’s Hyundai Sonata collided head-on with a Ford Expedition driven by 45-year-old Elizabeth Broemlage of Northport. A 12-year-old passenger in Broemlage’s vehicle was also injured. Both were transported to DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Authorities have not released details on the severity of their injuries.

Senior Trooper Gregory Corble noted that Lancaster was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision to determine contributing factors.

Officials encourage drivers to remain attentive on roadways and follow safety precautions, including wearing seat belts and driving cautiously, especially on highways.
