Authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that resulted in one fatality on the Broken Arrow Expressway in Tulsa.
According to the Tulsa Police Department, officers responded to the scene near 31st Street and Yale Avenue following reports of a collision involving a motorcycle, a pickup truck, and an SUV.
Police said the motorcycle rider, identified as 25-year-old Daniel Hill, was traveling at a high rate of speed when the motorcycle struck the rear of a pickup truck. The impact also resulted in damage to an SUV involved in the incident.
Emergency responders arrived shortly after the crash was reported. Authorities confirmed that Hill was pronounced deceased as a result of injuries sustained in the collision.
Officials stated that the drivers of both the pickup truck and the SUV were not injured. Police have not indicated that impairment was a factor, and no charges have been announced at this time.
The Tulsa Police Department said the crash remains under active investigation as officers work to determine the full sequence of events. Traffic in the area was impacted while crews cleared the scene and conducted preliminary assessments.
