Officials have identified the man who died in a drive-by shooting in Bexar County early Wednesday morning. Authorities say the incident involved over 80 rounds of gunfire in a residential area.
According to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office, the victim was 31-year-old Justin Charles Cline. Police reported that he was pronounced dead at the scene following the shooting.
The incident occurred just after 1 a.m. on April 1 on Center Street between North Walters and North Gevers Streets. Law enforcement said the shooting appeared to be targeted.
Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots and observed a black sedan leaving the scene. Police noted that recovered shell casings suggest two different firearms were used, including a high-powered rifle.
