Emergency crews in Hardin County responded to a reported fall Saturday evening in the Big Clifty area. According to West Hardin Fire & Rescue, responders were called to Sonora Hardin Springs Road just before 8 p.m. after reports that a woman had fallen from a cliff.
Due to the challenging terrain, crews required additional time to safely reach the location. The Hardin County Coroner later identified the woman as 27-year-old Aleiana Witten. Officials confirmed she died at the scene.
Authorities have not released further details about the circumstances leading up to the fall.
The incident remains under review by local officials.
