The Yuba County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the victim as 30-year-old Benito Valle of Olivehurst. Deputies were called to the 6th Avenue area at approximately 7:10 p.m. after receiving reports of a verbal dispute.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they located an individual with gunshot injuries. Emergency responders transported the man to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, according to officials.
