Delaware State Police have identified the man who died in a head-on collision in Hockessin earlier this week.

The victim, 65-year-old Frank Keys from Landenberg, Pennsylvania, was involved in a crash on March 10 on Route 48. According to authorities, Keys was driving a Hyundai Sonata northbound when it crossed the center line and collided with a southbound Chevrolet Silverado around 1:30 p.m.

Keys was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Silverado, a 79-year-old Hockessin resident, was also hospitalized but sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

Police said the investigation into the crash is ongoing. Authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact Delaware State Police investigators.
