According to the Fort Worth Police Department, officers were called to the 3000 block of Bledsoe Street around 1:40 a.m. following reports of shots fired inside a nightclub. Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered a man who had sustained serious injuries. Emergency medical personnel attempted to assist him, but he was later pronounced dead at the scene. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office later identified him as 31-year-old Patrique Allen.
In addition to Allen, five other people were found injured and were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Officials said all five individuals are expected to recover, as their injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
